Dr. Viktor Yakovlev has contributed to the development of the theoretical foundations of the choice of modes of transport for the conditions of the development of deep deposits by open cut, the foundations of the design and operation of mining enterprises. He developed the theoretical and methodological foundations of the strategy for the development of the mineral resources of the Urals, proposed a solution to a set of problems in the development of deep quarries, thanks to which transport systems and projects for the development of deep mining quarries were formed.
