Research Interests: processes of high-clay sands disintegration and lumpy ore geomaterials, enrichment of useful components, separation of minerals in water and air with the application of various physical fields (magnetic and ultrasonic) to them to intensify the processes.

Dr. Andrey I. Matveev has made a significant contribution to the development of a new promising dry technology for the beneficiation of various mineral raw materials, intended for the development of low-volume deposits, inaccessible or unprofitable for development by traditional technologies.

Author and co-author of over 200 scientific publications, incl. 4 monographs and 61 patents of the Russian Federation.
